How do I register my Community Group to receive locally grown fruit and vegetables?

Abundance Wimbledon is committed to ensuring as much of our picked, local fruit and vegetables is delivered direct to local charities as soon as possible after picking.

By far the most popular fruit/vegetable that is picked is apples.  There are often more cooking apples than those suitable for eating, so those charities who use apples for cooking are likely to receive the most produce from us.  However, please don't be shy as we are keen to distribute as much of our pickings as possible.

If your charity would like to receive our picked fruit and vegetables, please contact Juliet at [email protected]

From there, Juliet will put you in touch with your local Area Coordinator who will be your main contact for your produce.

We are reliant on our donors for all received fruit and vegetables, so often we don't know when donations will become available.  It will depend on when everything ripens.  Please feel free to keep in regular contact with your Area Coordinator who can advise.

In peak picking season there will be many kilograms of fruit available.

To find out more information or register your interest as a charity recipient of our picked fruit and vegetables, please email Juliet at [email protected]

Over the last 9 years, Abundance Wimbledon has donated more than £5,000 in cash to local charities

In 2020 Abundance Wimbledon rescued more than 1,613kgs of fruit, including 1,243 kgs of apples.
